Key tasks

Effectively undertake the daily reconciliation of the Hotel’s trading, including the checking and preparation of reports and statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures during the night shift.

Ensure smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's overnight operation, maintaining maximum guest satisfaction and the safety and security of the property. In charge of Night Team.

Responsible for the service of alcohol in some shifts and as required by operations.

Assist in the day to day operations of the Concierge department including lobby services and security functions, ensuring that standards are maintained in these areas, efficiency evident and customer’s needs met and expectations exceeded.


Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role, preferably including 5 star experience.

  • Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
  • Desire and ability to train and develop staff.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends in service, product and presentation.
  • Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
  • Organises time and work efficiently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Appreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stress.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
  • Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
