About the role
We are on the lookout for a Report Analyst to join our dedicated data and insights team who will use their data story telling techniques and narratives to effectively communicate insights to the wider business.
You will inspire action and highlight what matters by building simple and beautifully designed datasets, dashboards and reports in power BI.
Based in Newmarket and directly reporting to our Power BI and Apps Manager you will act as a trusted advisor promoting the use of data across the business to drive decision making.
Some of the great things you will be doing
Enable consistent and available data reporting across the BI environment
Collaborate with end users to identify requirements
Development, maintenance and support of dashboard / reports through iterative cycles and continual reviews and improvements.
Build the foundations to support the dashboards such as datasets and semantic layers
Audit dashboards to understand who is using them, whether they are using the right data sources and update and improve as new data becomes available.
Build reports to help monitor and visualise data quality. Find, investigate and fix data issues, making corrections where necessary
About you
Previous experience working with a variety of business stakeholders as a report developer / data story teller is essential
A solid background in data analysis, data cleansing, data visualization and reporting
Advanced Power BI skills and ability to write complex SQL
Exceptional reasoning skills coupled with the ability to translate data into business outcomes
Snowflake experience is advantageous
An analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and great attention to detail
