We require an experienced Carpenter, to formulate part of our on-site Facilities Management team, based on-site at the Victoria University.
You will be based on our client site, working in a team comprised of trades staff, admin support and facility and project managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
Building asset Reactive Maintenance
Building asset preventative maintenance
Equipment maintenance & preventative maintenance checks
Site vehicle minor maintenance & routine checks
Asset condition rating Audits
Sub-contractor supervision & quality control
Rostered after hours call out duties
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
Trade qualified Carpentry, Cabinet Making or similar (preferred)
Experience working in a commercial maintenance environment highly desirable
Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety Site Safe, Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platforms training highly desirable
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy
Able to use a tablet to record job stories (or willingness to learn)
You must have good (English) written and oral communication skills and have proven experience dealing with clients in a professional manner.
