Service and Compliance Manager - Wellington
Argus Fire Protection is a well-known company with over 30 years' experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects including fire system design, installation and ongoing testing and maintenance of fire systems.

We currently have a vacancy for a highly motivated, proactive and innovative individual to take on the position of Service and Compliance Manager for our Wellington office.

If you are this person, then you will be required to demonstrate :
A minimum of 10 years' experience in the fire protection, building, engineering or construction industries in NZ
Recent client-facing leadership experience in a service business, including full profit and loss responsibility
Experience in business system and process development, implementation and maintenance
Extensive project management experience in a building-related industry
A natural ability to engage with people and to lead, motivate and develop a busy and energetic team
The confidence and ability to contribute to the management of the business
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to organise resources effectively and efficiently in a dynamic environment
Experience driving a strong Health and Safety and Staff Welfare culture
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the relevant NZ Standards, NZ Building Code and local building compliance regulations, and HSWA 2015
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
Other responsibilities within this role will include :
Managing the Service and Compliance division's P&L, forecasting, business planning, process improvement and growth in the region
Creating a high-performance team environment and fostering a strong safety culture
Identifying business opportunities that generate increased sales and margins
Developing and maintaining key customer relationships
Achieving and exceeding monthly targets for sales of Argus' products and services
Budgeting, cost control, procurement, inventory management and invoicing
