    Right now, we have three administrativeopportunities here in Timaru for fast-movers who love a job with lots ofvariety. If you’re looking for a new challenge that will put your organisationand people skills to work, this is it.

    As our Front of Hospital team provide a 24-hour / seven day a week service, there is a requirement to work a variety of rosteredshifts.

    Ideally, you will rise up to the challenge of having to work differinghours each week and have the abilityon occasion to work up to full time to cover planned and unplanned leave.

    Eachshift type has its own demands and also rewards.

    Across different rostered shifts, you will be one ofour emergency receptionists and telephonists. Where one day could see youanswering incoming calls and dealing with queries, the next you could be coordinatingemergency response teams.

    Wherever you find yourself, you’ll be in a busy rolewith a huge impact, so if you’re cool headed with a strong stomach and apassion for helping others, you’ll thrive.

    As the eyes and ears of the hospital, you’ll be ahugely valued member of the team we’re after a quick decision-maker with areal sense of empathy and respect for others, who can handle even the toughersituations with ease.

    We are looking for an empathetic self-starter with ahigh degree of organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure ina busy and demanding environment.

    This includes coordinating emergency andalarm procedures throughout the hospital alongside daily administration andcomputer related duties.

    You would be working with an enthusiastic bunch ofcolleagues who take considerable pride in being part of a team that contributesin some way toward helping those in the community who require medicalassistance.

    You will need to be able to deal with an incredibly diverse rangeof people, staff, patients and their families - all of them needing yourassistance.

    In whichever role you find yourself, you’ll be in abusy role with a huge impact, so if you’re cool headed with a strong stomachand a passion for helping others, you’ll thrive.
