Tradepartners facilitates and manages a member group of electrical contracting companies under a nationwide group membership partner program.
The partner program provides members with access to product pricing plans, support services, and business-related benefits that encourage partners to grow their existing businesses and generate new revenue streams.
We are looking for a self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy as our Business Development Representative adding value to the Tradepartners experience with our existing customers, as well as identifying new sales opportunities
Develop and maintain a knowledge of the electrical industry and utilise this information in your day to day to help build rapport within the industry and build on the network
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the existing customer base and those in the pipeline with a view to grow the Tradepartners network and build brand awareness
Liaise with our wholesale partner and build relationships with the branches and store reps
Attend networking events when necessary and add value where practicable
Analyse available data in order to provide insights about existing and potential customers and to aid in the decision-making process
Monitor changes to key personnel and keeps company directory updated in the CRM
In this position, successful delivery will utilise a range of skills and experience. Tradepartners will look for and recruit the person who can best demonstrate they have the following attributes :
2+ years of sales account management or sales support.
Ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
Ability to transfer knowledge to others and communicate core issues / challenges, gain understanding, and develop solutions.
Ability to drives and delivers performance against set goals
Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, strong time management & organizational skills.
Motivation and hunger to constantly learn and develop yourself and your skill sets
Great teamwork skills and attitude, actively contribute towards a harmonious working environment
The position is Auckland based but is also responsible for the Upper North Island territory, so some travel will be required.
Initially, for a six-month term, the position has a fixed salary along with the use of a company vehicle. After this initial project is completed, we anticipate hiring permanently, with the role moving to base / commission.
