This is an opportunity for an experienced Policy Manager to apply their policy and people leadership skills within a rewarding and challenging context that supports the wellbeing of New Zealanders.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, Policy and Research, the Policy Manager leads advice to the ACC Minister, Board and Executive on the future design of the ACC scheme and its implementation.
The role provides a unique opportunity to develop strategic policy advice on the future of the ACC scheme and its role in broader health and welfare sectors, and to see that advice get implemented on the ground and make a difference for the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders.
As a highly-motivated people-leader, you'll be invested in the growth and development of your team, and contribute these skills more broadly across the business group.
You'll have an important role bringing a cross-agency perspective to ACC and contributing to inter-agency policy development to achieve strategic outcomes.
Working closely with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, Treasury, other agencies and across the ACC business, you'll shape high quality policy advice to Ministers ensuring the scheme is future-
proofed and delivering for New Zealanders.
