Job Description

We are currently seeking a new analyst to join our dynamic microbiology team in a permanent, full-time role. We are expanding our microbiology team.

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing NZ performs testing on non-sterile pharmaceutical products, medical devices, cosmetics, environmental samples.

Analysts are involved in all areas of the laboratory from sample processing, reading, reporting, record keeping, calibrations.

At Eurofins BioPharma, everyone is trained on all areas of the laboratory, so this is a great opportunity to get exposure to the whole process in the laboratory and grow your skillset.

There is also opportunity to work for some work in our chemistry team, when sample volumes are high.

We are an industry-leading GMP contract laboratory so have high expectations of all our staff including quality of work, efficiency, and accuracy.

Analysts are expected to positively contribute to the continual improvement of the operations and efficiency of our laboratory.

  • Education :

  • Required : Batchelor’s Degree in microbiology or related science discipline.
  • Experience :

  • Required : Practical knowledge and basic microbiological handling techniques such as aseptic technique, use of basic laboratory equipment (pipettes, spreaders, filtration units etc).
  • Strongly Preferred : Two or more years’ experience in a production or commercial laboratory environment.
  • Strongly Preferred : Experience working in a GLP or GMP organisation.
  • Desired : Comfortable performing basic wet chemistry tasks.
