  • We've got an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to join our fun, and high performing team in the new role of Brand Marketing Manager.

  • As part of the wider marketing team, you will be leading a team five passionate individuals and will be accountable for developing, implementing and driving strategic brand plans across all channels for our three brands;
  • Merchant 1948, Mi Piaci and Deuce throughout New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia. If you're passionate about all things brand, PR and love growing and developing those around you (with plenty of support, of course), we want to hear from you!

    We're a family owned Footwear retailer with 500+ people across our Support Office, Distribution Centre and 50+ stores in New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia.

    What will you be responsible for?

    In our fast paced, ever-changing retail environment, you will be driving and managing the execution of our brand strategy and supporting the team to deliver this to our customers.

    Your day to day may include; communicating with press about our latest innovation, managing a location shoot or supporting the team with workflow efficiency.

    The role also involves managing a team of five passionate and high performing individuals.

    What will you bring?

  • 5+ years prior experience in Brand Marketing Management, fashion experience preferable
  • Comprehensive experience in PR and end to end brand management
  • Excellent communication, influence & relationship building - this comes naturally to you!
  • Great leadership skills and experience of leading creative teams
  • Enviable analytical skills , including being able to articulate the impact of campaigns and ROI
  • Proactivity, enviable organisation & solutions focus - you love to just make it happen!
  • Positivity - bucket loads of it, nothing fazes you and you inspire others with your positive attitude
  • Customer focus - everything we do is about providing an exceptional customer experience
