An exciting opportunity awaits within the HPE Point Next Operational Services team for an adaptable, curious, and tenacious business development individual to join our HPE Point Next Services team to lead the overall pipeline and P&L for Greenlake across New Zealand.

This position is specifically focused on managing the offering and increasing the overall sales and pipeline of Greenlake with the goal of exceeding a quota across New Zealand.

HPE’s Greenlake (Flexible Capacity) offering provides a worry-free, flexible, and turnkey solution that lets customer’s package best-

in-class hardware, software, accessories, and services into a convenient per-unit model.

This role will collaborate with and supports Account Managers and provides specialist expertise within the sales team to qualify, negotiate and close opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for driving business growth by developing new xAAS business.
  • Devises and executes a growth plan that meets business goals for assigned region; including accountability for achieving order targets.
  • Works with country business and sales managers to drive business growth both in existing and new market segments and accounts
  • Educates account teams aboutas a service solutions to increase their understanding and appreciation of its contribution to overall client account growth and retention
  • Helps sales to position the value of HPE'sCaaS offering
  • Prepares and guides pursuit & account teams through opportunity creation and pursuit strategic planning, qualifying, and developing and substantiating the services value proposition.
  • Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas, and provides the business value selling expertise for thespecialty area
  • Profiles market and customer segments to build a high-quality funnel that generates customer demand in partnership with marketing & sales
  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues, and is regarded as a subject matter expert inHPE's CaaS offering
  • Experience in managing a business or business unit is desirable. Ability to have a business conversation at CFO or LOB leader level, especially involving financial measures, is key
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers / clients.
  • Contributes to enduring executive relationships that establish the company's consultative professionalism and promote its total solution capabilities.
  • Maintains expertise on IT at all levels - new applications, maintenance, typical budgets of the CIO's, typical objectives, measures, metrics.
  • Maintains broad market and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with Customer Executives.
  • Education and Experience Required :

  • Typically 10-12+ years in the Services Industry and 3+ years in developing xaaS offering opportunities with clients, preferably with the CxO level.
  • Prior experience with developing customer solutions leverage various pricing and financial modelling
  • Experience with driving sales and solutions within a matrixed organization
  • Experience in an IT services organization in a client facing role with business development responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and experience of Project Management and / or Process Improvement methods.
  • Experience as an Industry Specialist, Solution Architect, Practice Principal.
  • Excellent market knowledge. Needs broad knowledge of competitive market dynamics, business models, business strategies and processes.
  • Ability to develop, launch, and manage new product offerings within the IT datacenter space.
  • You must posses work right to work in New Zealand. We are unable to provide assistance with sponsorship and relocation.
