About the roleGrainCorp Foods NZ is currently seeking a Quality Technician to assist with laboratory functions and the testing of raw materials at our East Tamaki site.

The role will also involve : Sampling and chemical testing of refined fats & oilsManage the data entry and record keeping for all relevant product specifications into the Quality Management SystemProvide support and advice to the refinery and Packing Room teams on all matters relating to food safety and qualityAbout your experienceCandidates will have a background in Quality, preferably from a food, agriculture or manufacturing environment, with experience working in a lab.

Candidates will also display : An understanding of laboratory analysis techniques including chemistry testing and GC usageWorking knowledge of quality standards.

Degree or diploma in Applied Science, Science or Food Technology.Microsoft Office experience including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Intermediate and above)Ability to plan a daily work schedule and prioritising work in order to meet business demands.Please note the role requires the ability to work flexible / shift working hoursPreferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
