This role is responsible for growing and retaining a portfolio of clients in respect of their Trade Credit Insurance, establishing and developing relationships with both clients and underwriters.

This will include responsibility for developing existing clients and driving the business development strategy for new opportunities whilst contributing to the overall growth of the portfolio.

The Role :

This role requires a diligent team player who is able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.

As a member of a highly motivated team, the successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Autonomously managing all aspects of your client portfolio including identifying, designing and negotiating appropriate Credit Specialty solutions for insurable risks specific to the clients’ risk appetite and business objectives
  • Consistently ensuring the delivery of high quality and timely service
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain, develop and grow strong long-term relationships.
  • Coordinate and provide guidance and support to policyholders
  • Provide relevant feedback to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participating in the development of value propositions to generate and maximise growth opportunities
  • Supporting the team’s financial objectives, including new business targets and optimisation of revenue opportunities
  • Understand, and leverage, the wider capabilities of Willis Towers Watson both locally and internationally
  • Provide training of colleagues to support their learning and development
  • The Requirements :

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and be comfortable in presenting to clients including;
  • A proven ability to understand and meet clients’ needs with strong customer service and relationship building skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience dealing with Trade Credit Insurance
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to deliver on agreed business targets
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel and knowledge of PowerPoint;
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Time management skills that keep you ahead of your schedule and workload
  • A high level of professionalism and reliability and an ability to work with minimal guidance
