Build a career with a well-known, future-focused government organisation based in central Wellington. Our client is looking for a Manager of Project Management and Coordination to help lead their ICT function within an organisation that runs large scale ICT projects.
The role :
As the Manager of Project Management and Coordination, you’ll be leading a large team of Project Managers and Coordinators, and will be responsible for the day-to-day management, strategy, and leadership of the practice of the Project Management capability.
Reporting to the Head of Solution Delivery, you’ll be building and enhancing the overall capability of the team including resourcing, professional services, capability development, practices & tools and Ways of Working.
You’ll be part of the team to help lead and operationalise complex, multiyear, programmes of work and drive Product Aligned’ team structures and delivery.
About you :
You’re a collaborative leader and have the ability to build capability within your team. You’re able to establish clear accountabilities, expectations and performance standards with direct reports and Coach and develop staff to meet the needs of now and in the future.
You have a passion and drive for modern Digital ways of working and are able to bring an understanding of best practice professional standards and frameworks to support effective delivery
You are able to work across traditional IT delivery and more modern ways and being able to bring a team along that journey is a must.
