Bid Manager Our purpose Here at Datacom we connect people and technology in order to solve challenges create opportunities and discover new possibilities for the communities we live in Our team Our Sales Enablement team is a dedicated group of professionals who act as the bridge between our Sales and specialist Business Units Working closely we ensure our Sales team are equipped with the tools and strategic resources to excel You will be at the heart of Datacom driving revenue and helping the organisation reach its targets while also being a deciding factor in the company s overall success At Datacom no two days are the same About the Role As the Bid Manager you ll work with the sales team and manage all significant bid opportunities and engagements ensuring all aspects of the proposed solution are targeted deliverable wellarticulated clearly presented and commercially viable You will take responsibility for developing the required relationships driving the bid activities across the business and presenting the bids as part of the sales process What you ll do Working closely with our product management and sales teams you will Manage the end to end process for major EOI s RFP s and proposal submissions Organise coordinate and attend bid team meetings to ensure the team focus on inputs outputs and deadlines Coordination of marketing material and presentation format and imagery design Develop and maintain a proposal toolkit working with the sales operations manager to ensure that all company guidelines are adhered to Work with our technical experts to ensure bids clearly reflect service offerings capability and value proposition Liaise with senior managers to ensure all input has been obtained and signed off Coordination of resources to ensure timely delivery of bids Review of all bid documentation What you ll bring You ll have a solid background in bid management in particular large and complex servicesbased RFPs proposals and EOI s You ve got a broad understanding of IT Outsourcing enough to make sense of the technical jargon and present it back to audiences in the appropriate manner Your familiarity with the Bid process means you can handle the stress associated with strict deadlines and have strong time management DNA to keep both yourself and virtual teams on track Communication is key so it goes without saying that you ve a high proficiency in writing targeted effective documentation with attention to detail second to none You ll have a creative flair with demonstrable experience presenting to senior stakeholders with strong engagement and relationship skills to follow through You ll also have the confidence to overcome resistance and enforce the standard processes to ensure the deal is a good one Why Datacom We have over 6 200 people across our global offices and generate an annual revenue of over 1 2 billion this makes us one of Australasia s largest professional IT services companies We have extensive expertise in operating data centres providing IT services software engineering and application management as well as payroll and customer service design and operations With this comes a long list of significant clients Datacom is committed to hiring developing and promoting the best talent from a diverse range of backgrounds We are local at heart yet worldclass in capability DATACOM CO NZ CAREERS
