About the Job

Citycare is looking for experienced and reliable handypersons to join our Building Maintenance Carpentry team based in South Auckland.

Our team ensures council's South Auckland building portfolio remains safe and sturdy. If you want to contribute and make a difference, then we want to hear from you!


This role will be responsible for :

  • Maintenance of and repairs to commercial and leased buildings
  • Working on a reactive and scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance promptly and efficiently
  • Requirements

    The successful candidate will have / be :

  • Full Class 1 Driver Licence
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • An eye for detail
  • A proactive self-starter with initiative
  • Enthusiastic and enjoy working in a customer facing service industry environment
  • A strong emphasis on health and safety
  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • Pass a medical, drug and alcohol assessment
  • Provide two reference checks
