An exciting position has become available at Black and Gold Events! We are on the hunt for our next Black & Gold Operations Manager!

We are looking for an extremely organised and dynamic hospitality professional who is committed to delivering the best functions and events to a wide range of clients.

With 3 amazing venues offering 13 unique, private spaces you’ll be a master of logistics, host extraordinaire and inspiring team leader!

This role is permanent, full-time with flexible work hours to reflect the demands of the event calendar. This role is available for an immediate start.

Ideal applicants will boast the following skills :

  • Liaise with and ensure constant communication with Function Sales Coordinator, Head Chef & Venue Manager in regards to all upcoming functions and run sheets
  • Lead or ensure appropriate execution of all functions and events to the highest standard for all customers.
  • Be on premise at key times for set up, execution and team briefings of all key functions and events
  • Note and report on any till discrepancies to ensure accurate customer billing.
  • Work with the Venue Manager to ensure correct rostering and key staff assignment
  • Ensures all equipment is acquired, maintained and presented to the highest standard.
  • Ensures all stock, linens and any other associated sundries are ordered, delivered and stored in a timely and organised fashion for all upcoming events
  • Performs regular stocktaking of all stock and equipment and reports on any damages, replacements or losses.
  • Ensure all of the venue’s function and event spaces are presented in a clean and presentable fashion at all times.
