Tennis Auckland Region Incorporated (TA) is the largest of the New Zealand tennis regions comprising approximately 9,700 members in over 50 clubs.
TA operates three tennis centres in greater Auckland and successfully runs two international tennis tournaments in January each year.
TA provides a Regional Development Programme for aspiring junior players and offers both administrative and technical support to its stakeholder clubs.

The Tennis Auckland Board consists of four appointed and four elected members. The Board Appointments Panel is looking to formally appoint 1 director.
The incumbent director is stepping down and will not be seeking re-appointment.

Tennis Auckland supports the principle of gender equality at a governance level.
The successful candidate will join a capable Board, with a passion for tennis, who are collectively responsible for ensuring sound governance practices and processes in the Tennis Auckland region.
Tennis Auckland Board meets a minimum of 10 times a year with most meetings taking approximately two hours. In addition to Board meetings, directors are involved in board committees as relevant to their expertise and interests.
All Board positions will be for a term of 3 years. Board members of Tennis Auckland undertake this role in a volunteer capacity.
