Join the team in this important HR Manager role, helping the GM and wider business along their people journey building engagement and a collaborative culture.
What you’ll get involved in
This is a full HR generalist role, working closely with the GM and senior leaders. Initially you’ll join the team, spend time listening and getting to know the opportunities and challenges faced.
Then you’ll get stuck in, working with the people-focussed GM to set a people strategy and plan. This will see you bringing your experience and creativity to the fore, helping to build up management capability and develop and drive culture initiatives.
Bringing the two worlds together, implementing global frameworks and finding synergies and alignment are a key aspects of this role.
As this is a multi site, NZ wide business, so you’ll need to be flexible to travel around the sites from time to time. And while this is a sole charge role in NZ, you’ll be part of an international network of HR Managers within the global group who have regular virtual meetings, sharing learning and ideas.
A bit about you
To make a difference and help drive change in this environment, you’ll be a strong communicator and have fine-tuned influencing and relationship building skills.
You may be an HR Manager looking for a new challenge, or an HR Business Partner / Senior HR Advisor ready to take the next step.
Critical to your success will be the strong HR generalist skills you’ve developed across the full HR remit, including strong experience with ER and driving culture change.
You love to find solutions and empower people. You’ve ideally built up your experience in an industrial environment and / or heavy industry and ideally you’ll have worked within a global business.

While the small Head Office is based in Rosedale, Auckland, there is an opportunity to be based from other offices in Auckland / around the country and also the flexibility to work from home.
