Join the diverse global safety supplies organization, we currently have a great aopportunity to join our team at Wiri, Auckland as Distribution Centre Team Manager.

The role : This is a hands-on and fast paced role. You will to manage the day to day running of your team and ensure processes are efficient, accurate and you will be responsible for ensuring that a safe work environment at all time.

Key ResponsibilitiesProactively leading, developing and managing a team of distribution workers; ensuring a strong team culture and focus on customer experienceRecognise high performing employees and manage poor performing employees.

Develop, review and implement appropriate rosters and staffing strategiesEstablish priorities for all team activitiesDevise methods to rectify anomalies, compile an action plan, implementation schedule and timetable.

Implement change progress, monitor and measure progress until finalisedTo be successful in this role, you will needProven leadership experience in a similar distribution centre environmentPassion for SafetySolid experience using a warehouse management system (System 21 would be an advantage)Excellent interpersonal and problem-
