As a key member of our global R&D team , you will be based in Auckland and be instrumental in our business transformation to become AI-first.

You will work on our recently launched AI-Based Real-Time, Predictive Telematics Platform - TN360, that uses a scalable cloud ecosystem to connect data from sensors, cameras, mobile and third-party applications into real-time insights.

You will translate user and business needs into functional frontend design to help solve our customer's problems. To break it down, your responsibilities will include :

  • Participate in all phases of software development, from initial concepts, specification development, coding, to validation and software release
  • Own and develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Work in Technical Chapters with team members based in multiple regions, and participate in global & regional projects
  • Maintain existing platform, including bug fixes and feature enhancements
  • Promote and drive a passionate customer focused culture by ensuring a strong focus on delivery, execution and the customer

    To be successful in this role, you will be equipped with :

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience with React, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with responsive design and UX
  • Eagerness to learn new languages and technologies and stay on top of industry trends
  • The ability to work independently. You will receive guidance, but need to feel comfortable taking ownership and making decisions on your own
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work efficiently with distributed teams
  • Open to new ideas and the ability to thrive in an environment where change is a constant
