New World Centre City is proudly locally owned and operated! Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a dedicated and driven person with relevant experience to build on the excellent growth of this department.

Reporting to the Dry Goods Manager, you will be responsible for a liquor department that has established itself over a number of years as a go-to for wine lovers.

We have established a following for our craft beer range, we are known for our expansive offer, speed to market and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Organise and lead the daily operations of the liquor department
  • Manage the liquor roster
  • Ensure the shop is presented to a very high standard at all times
  • Utilise SAP to its full capabilities to ensure stock flows smoothly from storeroom to shelf
  • Work alongside your Manager to ensure operational and financial KPI’s are being achieved
  • Engage and build positive relationships with our customers, suppliers, sales reps and
  • Merchandiser’s

  • Lead your team to ensure customer service is a high priority
  • Ensure speed to market with product launches and innovations
  • Drive our instore promotional activity
  • Create a positive environment for your team with opportunities for development & growth
