Reporting to the Production and Supply Chain Manager, we’re looking for a Logistics Manager to lead the Logistics Team at Cloudy Bay Vineyards, by managing the distribution, planning, dry goods procurement, dry and wet goods inventory, and label compliance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share both your wine knowledge and your passion for operations planning and leadership to ensure that Cloudy Bay maintains high-quality service.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Organizing and tracking shipments to market;
  • Manage yearly capacity plans, monthly distribution plans, and weekly bottling & distribution plans;
  • Manage dry goods costs within contracts and order dry goods procurement;
  • Manage label logistics;
  • Manage export certification and label compliance;
  • Liaise with suppliers on new products & processes;
  • Manage stock on-site;
  • Requirements

    In order to succeed in this position, you will have :

  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics is desirable;
  • At least 5 years experience working in a logistics role, preferably in a winery;
  • Experience in freight management;
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft programs & SAP);
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Thoroughness in approach with the ability to make clear, well communicated decisions;
  • Good problem-solving skills;
  • Planning and organizing;
  • Multi-tasking;
  • Adaptability;
  • Integrity;
  • Relevant rights to work in New Zealand
