Building, maintaining and operating this network in a safe and reliable way is vital to ensure our community receives a safe and resilient supply of energy into the future.
Reporting to the Release Planning Manager, your role will encompass a range of operational planning activities. You will be required to : plan and coordinate safe access to plant used to construct and maintain our electricity networkdevelop, maintain and operate the live network management modelprovide exceptional customer service to internal and external customerskeep abreast with all Network and Outage Management systems developments and provide training and support to our employees.
The candidateOur ideal candidate will be someone who has excellent communication skills, a strong focus on building relationships with your customers, the ability to work safely under pressure and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
To be successful in this role you will have : minimum NZQA level 6 engineering qualification preferred or equivalent experiencefamiliarity with geographic information and distribution management systemsextensive experience in the maintenance and operation of electrical distribution and transmission systemsa current full driver’s licence.
