About the role
We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our Respiratory and Acute Care Product Group. You will work closely with the rest of the Finance team, the Programme Manager and Project Managers from across the Product Group to analyse data from all parts of the business, evaluate return on investment, create reports, and streamline processes.
This pivotal role will provide valuable information to enable strategic decision making to assure our continued growth and success.
The role provides a high degree of hands on variety while managing the process from end to end. It will offer exposure to a diverse range of projects and areas within the product group.
You will also develop yourself as the finance subject matter expert for Product Group projects and initiatives and maintain the CapEx / OpEx requirements of the projects as well as the commissioning of assets.
You will develop knowledge of the company, industry and its products to be able to offer innovative solutions to the business for both existing and new products.
Previous project management experience, SAP experience, and knowledge of manufacturing would be desirable.
To be successful in this position you will either have, or be progressing towards obtaining, a CIMA, CPA or CA qualification.
You will have 3-5 years' accounting experience working with fixed assets / project preferably within a manufacturing environment.
You will have exceptional Excel skills and high attention to detail.
Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to engage and influence with diverse teams to ensure projects are financially viable.
Your inquisitive nature and self-starter approach will allow you to be involved in helping the business make the right financial decisions.
