What makes an outstanding Application Support Specialist?As an Application Support Specialist, you’ll be part of a global group that are the first respondent engaged to resolve application and service issues impacting our clients which could be high and low priority.

We also complete maintenance type work, answer questions for our financial institutions data centre, and back office staff.

This is not a customer-facing role, but we always work to keep our clients happy. You’ll be responding to client issues and concerns via incoming tickets.

As the first level of Tier 2, you’ll be resolving high priority issues via Conference Bridge with other internal technical teams until resolved.

You’ll will be working a 4x10 schedule with 1 weekend day included. .As part of your role we look for you to create knowledge articles as you learn and help streamline process by participating in process improvement projects after you get comfortable managing the day in and day out routine.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration : Associates Degree or higher in Information Technology or Computer Science, and / or relevant work experience.

1-year work experience using SQL querying1-year work experience troubleshooting Windows services and app pools.1-year work experience of scripting language (VB Script, JSON, PowerShell, .

NET, etc)Ability to work non-standard hours and holidays as part of 24X7 team.Ability to work in high-pressure situations to resolve client issuesPreferred Skills, Experience, and Education : PCF or Microsoft Azure Cloud TroubleshootingMobile application or financial applications experienceCertified SPLUNK UserITIL CertifiedWhat's in it for you?
