The Director, Culture & Experience also champions high-quality, targeted, timely, and effective internal organisational communications through the development and delivery of related strategies, programs, and materials.

The individual in this role will collaborate with subject-matter experts in the organisation to ensure communications align with overall organisational strategies, goals, and values.

As a critical member of the People team, you will help drive culture strategy, build programs, and execute on global initiatives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Work with the Chief People Officer to successfully develop our Culture Code to enhance employee engagement and create a strong sense of community across Seequent.
  • Analyse culture data collected through employee surveys and feedback and play a critical role in developing strategies to enhance employee engagement, address culture hot spots , and capitalize on our virtual workforce as our transient advantage.
  • Partner and collaborate with our People Team partners to create learning paths directly tied to living and further developing our Culture Code.
  • Develop and direct a comprehensive internal communication strategy that drives employee engagement and meaningful connection to the company's vision, values, and future growth strategy and the role that they play in the future of the company.
  • Develop a robust executive, management, and organizational communication practice to support senior-level executives and leaders throughout the company to share timely, relevant business information to ensure alignment and strong employee engagement.
  • Direct and execute a regular cadence of monthly, quarterly and annual organizational communications by CEO across written, digital, and interactive communications.
  • Use existing internal channels such as intranet, email, events, and collaboration tools to communicate to employees in ways that advance the company's mission, culture, and brand.
  • Manage culture initiatives to ensure that our Culture Code transformation maintains momentum, engages diverse stakeholders and helps achieve our commitment to excellence.
  • Engage in planning for a variety of internal and external events to bring visibility and learning to our employees, our community partners, and our customers.
  • Facilitate culture related off-sites to further develop leader's mindset and behaviour around employee engagement.
  • Actively promote and assist HR in supporting external recruitment and internal retention strategies as we aim to win the race for talent acquisition.
  • In order to be successful in this role, you should have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field; master’s degree is a definite asset.
  • A minimum of 15 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a significant senior leadership position in culture, employee engagement, or organizational development.
  • Experience managing large global programs such as internal communications, employee engagement, marketing and employer branding.
  • Experience developing diversity and inclusion programs and facilitating organizational wide change management initiatives.
  • Project management, planning, and reporting experience with a creative, balanced, and informed approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and make summary recommendations.
  • Innovative, open, and able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Sound business acumen and well-developed assessment, judgment, and critical thinking abilities to generate new ideas.
  • Take initiative and be able to propose creative and entrepreneurial strategies to advance company goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail and large group facilitation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and relationship building abilities across a large, multi-functional team.
  • Ability to from time-to-time travel, as required.
