We're looking for an experienced web developer who is a client-focused problem solver to help us deliver interesting and impactful projects for the Council.

The focus of this role is to support and enhance a range of websites to improve the accessibility and presentation of information to align with the Council and users' expectations.

This will involve designing websites, maintaining and developing web based solutions, delving into our analytics and providing training.

Working with the team and stakeholders throughout the organisation you will follow a process of evaluating user feedback, making data-driven decisions, and using continuous improvement to achieve goals.

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Experience creating and managing content in a CMS (Content Management System), we use Squiz Matrix, and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Familiarity with PHP, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and in-site search

Excellent communication skills

A strong customer focus

A creative and analytical approach to problem solving

We are looking for someone who is happy to slot into the team and share their experience.

Salary range : 62,234 - 73,216 *
