We have opportunities for 2x Application Support Analysts to join our team within an exciting and fast paced area of the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide support in completion of a current project. This position will be based at either our Auckland Laboratory, Auckland office or Christchurch office.

You'll get to work alongside experienced, knowledgeable and supportive team members. This position is full time working a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Reporting to Application Manager, you will be troubleshooting and providing support for key business applications (LabWare LIMS).

Your natural ability to solve problems and implement changes per change control and release procedures will be highly regarded.

This role will also involve working on projects and providing user training as required.About you : Ideally you will have 1+ years of experience with IT Applications Support or 1+ years Laboratory experience.

This experience would ideally include application configuration, testing, and analysis experience in addition to general exposure to MS applications and operating systems.

The key skills for this role are : Excellent analytical skills for understanding application problems coupled with methodical problem solving skillsAn understanding of how an IT system supports and enables business processesAn understanding of database concepts, ideally with experience with SQL scripts and / or queriesA basic knowledge of HTML and scripting languages such as VBAExposure to XML, CSS and JavaScript would be an advantageYou will also have excellent time management and be a team player with an eye for detail and a passion for providing quality customer focus.
