- Dunedin NZ based Rare Lifestyle Opportunity
- Global Automation & Robotics Leader
- Make your career in a NZ success story
Scott Automation is a New Zealand success story. Founded in Dunedin over a century ago, the company now has a global presence supplying automation and robotic systems to tier 1 manufacturers wherever they may be. The business continues to expand both organically and through acquisition and it is this that has created this key new role based in the company's head office.
Your new role will see you lead a team of controls and graduate engineers, overseeing and contributing to the specification, design and troubleshooting of a diverse portfolio of client-specific automation and robotics applications. You will develop and write PLC/HMI/Servo/SCADA and Robot code using programming environments that include Rockwell, Siemens and GE. You will be involved with commissioning and will interface with other Scott business units and clients as required. Safety in all things is a key Scott focus.
You will likely hold an electrical engineering degree or trade qualification and have a solid history of control engineering in manufacturing environments. You may have led design and/or commissioning teams in prior roles, or you could be ready to step up to your first leadership role. But above all, you have integrity, are a team player and always seek to deliver exceptional results for both customers and your employer.
Travel nationally and internationally will be a part of the role, once the pandemic eases.
