  • The Insolvency and Trustee Service (ITS) requires a confident and enthusiastic person to join our National Resources Group (NRG) in Christchurch as a Quality Advisor .

    About the role :

    The wider NRG provides specialist advice in the areas of law, accounting, quality and community engagement as well as dealing with insolvency applications and the Official Assignee's trust account.

    This Quality Advisor role fits within the Quality and Education Team of the NRG.

    The focus of the NRG is to uphold the integrity of the insolvency regime and ensure that colleagues and stakeholders have the best information possible to deal with their insolvency work accurately and efficiently.

    This position will be responsible for achieving the ITS quality targets and will therefore require a high level of attention to detail.

    In this role you can look forward to a constant flow of challenges, which will give you plenty of scope to utilise your excellent analytical and communication skills in achieving efficient results based on relevant legislation and organisational requirements.

    Applicants will need :

  • A strong understanding of and relevant experience with Quality Assurance methodologies, including relevant ISO standards
  • The ability to understand and apply relevant legislation and policy
  • The ability to analyse and interpret data to ensure quick and accurate conclusions and decisions are reached
  • The ability to identify and research issues and question these to ascertain correct solutions in accordance with prescribed procedures and legislation
  • The confidence and the ability to handle challenging and complex communication in technical matters within tight timeframes including the formulation of reporting
  • The ability to enhance relationships, work effectively with and positively influence others
  • A great team attitude with a willingness and desire to get things done within the team environment
  • The person sought will have strong people skills with strength in communication. They will also have strong analytical and research skills getting to the crux of matters quickly.

    Previous experience in reviewing outcomes from a quality perspective and suggesting improvements will be essential.
