As a Territory Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships and providing a direct interface with the Veterinary and Pet Retail channel, servicing independent, state and national key accounts.

Following the Territory Management Plan, the Territory Manager will represent the Hill's brand through regular visits, meetings and seminars in order to achieve increased distribution, recommendation and sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and territory objectives for the Pet & Vet Channels in territories covering North Shore of Auckland, Northwest Auckland, North where the main centres are Whangarei, Mangawhai, Dargaville, Bay of islands.

Far north i.e. Kaitaia is included but only every 2-3 months.

As part of the territory, requirement would be to travel a week per month away in this territory to maintain and grow business relationships with our regional customers.

The ideal applicant should have :

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Pharmaceuticals, Veterinary Science or similar
  • Exceptional relationship management skills and client focus
  • High motivation and personal drive to increase sales and build business relationships
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Intermediate or advanced computer skills - Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Sales experience in Territory Management, Veterinary, FMCG or similar fields is highly regarded
  • This role offers a competitive remuneration package including a fully paid company car.
