Auckland City, AucklandClinic Receptionist & Scheduling Administrator- OphthalmologyCloses 28 Jun 2019Posted 15 Jun 2019We currently have a fixed term opportunity ending 1 June 2020 available for a Clinic Receptionist and Schedule Administrator, within the Ophthalmology Department.

Your key accountabilities will be reception duties, referral management and scheduling outpatient follow up appointments.

The role is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre but the candidates must be flexible, as occasionally the service may need the candidate to work from the Waitakere Satellite Clinic.

Our core hours for this role are primarily structured around the clinic hours but could vary depending on changes for the service.

Your working hours could be anytime between 7am through to 7pm, Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.This is a very busy role requiring high aptitude in prioritising, problem solving with the ability to self-

manage. You will need to be flexible and have advanced people and computer skills. You will show empathy towards patients contributing towards a positive patient experience and efficient running of the clinics.

To be successful you will need to have a "can do" attitude, proven administration skills, demonstrate attention to detail, with good time management, and problem solving ability.

You will be process driven and able to work as a good team player.Previous experience in a health care setting and knowledge of PHS / CMS is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided.
