    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We are looking for a Full Time receptionist to join our busy team.

    The Accident & Medical Clinic at Kenepuru offers 24 hour patient focused primary care services.

    As the successful candidate you will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to work in a busy environment.

    You will also have proven office administration and reception skills. Knowledge of Medtech 32 would be an advantage.

    The position is rostered and rotating 40 hours per week over 7 days.

    5 rostered & rotating shifts per week :

  • 3.30pm -12.00pm
  • Salary range is $37,520 - $38,271.00

    DUTIES

    You will be responsible for many duties including :

  • Meeting & Greeting patients
  • Maintaining accurate data records
  • Invoicing patients
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Managing Administration tasks as required
  • Ordering Radiology referrals
  • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Customer Service
  • Communication Skills
  • Administration Experience
  • Medtech32 experienced
  • ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

    Capital and Coast DHB (CCDHB) is located centrally in Wellington and has the equivalent of around 4,300 full time staff, making us a major employer in the Wellington region.

    CCDHB operates two hospitals Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua as well as the Kapiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu.

    The Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) spans three DHBs - Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast DHB’s and includes local, regional, and national services.

    The local MHAIDS services are provided from multiple sites within the 3DHB sub-region greater Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.

    Te Korowai Whariki services include regional forensic and rehabilitation services covering the Central region while the intellectual disability services extend the length and breadth of the country from six bases located in Whangarei, Auckland, Cambridge, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.

    The core business of the Service is the provision of quality specialist services, integrated with primary and secondary providers in the communities we serve.

    CCDHB provides a range of specialist services including neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal intensive care and community-based services including district nursing, rehabilitation services, social work, alcohol and drug services, and home support services to a population of around 900,000 people.

    Wellington is New Zealand’s capital city, a cultural and cosmopolitan epicentre renowned for its vibrant cafés, restaurants, international sporting and cultural events set in a beautiful natural harbour.

    With easy access to vineyards in the Wairarapa and beaches on the Kapiti Coast, there’s plenty of opportunity for adventure or simply to relax and unwind.
