Job Description :
The Public Cloud Director is a global position that leads a team of highly skilled architects and engineers for NTT MCIS.
The candidate should have experience delivering public cloud solutions and familiarity with the potential challenges encountered while working in a managed services provider environment.
In addition, the Public Cloud Director should have a strong understanding of market conditions and industry trends in the public cloud arena.
Deliverables for the Global Public Cloud organization will include :
Working with the sales, product, and architectural teams to define operational standards and service descriptions
Working with customers and the sales team to provide input on valid solutions for public cloud infrastructure
Helping to define migration and transformation strategies
Ensuring engagement from support engineers in Service Delivery through TCT framework
Implementing customers with specified standards and deployment models leveraging best practices for public cloud infrastructure management
Implementing landing zones and building public cloud infrastructure for migrations and new environments
Leveraging DevOps best practices to deploy code
Acting as a point of escalation for support and troubleshooting existing environments as issues arise (connectivity or performance issues for example)
Maintaining cost governance toolsets (CloudHealth)
Communicating with customers throughout sales, implementation, and support phases
Building processes and workflows that ensure a smooth customer experience and efficient time utilization in the support of public cloud services
Development and continuous execution of training for Service Delivery groups as well as collaborative architectural initiatives
Deliverables specific to the Public Cloud Director role include :
Guiding team workflow towards DevOps best practices and methodologies
Driving to a more SRE oriented workflow
Driving integration and alignment of workflow and deployment methods between newly integrated organizations
Leadership and Team Focus :
Provides recommendations on changes and design enhancements to improve reliability, security, processes, and performance
Takes responsibility for meeting commitments; desire to succeed and has a history of meeting solutions by deadline

Qualifications : EDUCATION REQUIRED :
EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Finance. Will also accept equivalent of bachelor’s degree through any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
7 years’ experience in a global IT infrastructure operations management position.

Performance analysis of leadership and engineering resources
Providing and receiving feedback at any level of the organization
