    Reporting to the Global Head of People & Performance, this part-time, job-share role of 3 days per week will first and foremost lead the day to day management of payroll for our NZ site.

    Together with your fellow payroll colleague, you will also be responsible for regulatory preparation and filing of payroll reporting as well as any other financial and people-related reports as they arise.

    As the systems administrator and subject matter expert for both the Payroll and HRIS systems, you will be expected to continuously seek improvement and development of new processes and procedures.

    As a member of the People & Performance team, this also extends to active participation in new projects and initiatives that arise throughout the year.

    To be successful in this role you’ll need in-depth knowledge of the NZ Payroll legislation and hands-on experience in processing payroll and associated records.

    You will be able to demonstrate computer skills with a flair for problem solving and thinking on your feet. Your eye for detail, strong work ethic and continuous endeavour for accuracy will ensure you are effective in this role.

    Confidentiality, patience and discretion are second nature to you.

    Your background, experience and personal attributes include :

  • Several years of experience administering payroll particularly in a unionised environment, ideally using PayGlobal
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to be applied when streamlining processes
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills across all levels
  • Display an ability to work independently as well as contribute in a team environment
