Are you an experienced payroll practitioner looking for a varied, part-time role? Great opportunity to demonstrate your love of process and structure and implement improvements in the workplace.
Founded in 2006, Argenta’s vision is to provide the best animal health technologies and products in a sustainable way. We are a global manufacturing and contract research development organisation with a passion for innovation, excellence and winning as a team.
Now operational in 5 sites across New Zealand, the United States and Scotland, we are no longer a small kiwi company, but it is still that kiwi can-do attitude that sets us apart.

Together with your fellow payroll colleague, you will also be responsible for regulatory preparation and filing of payroll reporting as well as any other financial and people-related reports as they arise.
As the systems administrator and subject matter expert for both the Payroll and HRIS systems, you will be expected to continuously seek improvement and development of new processes and procedures.
As a member of the People & Performance team, this also extends to active participation in new projects and initiatives that arise throughout the year.
To be successful in this role you’ll need in-depth knowledge of the NZ Payroll legislation and hands-on experience in processing payroll and associated records.
You will be able to demonstrate computer skills with a flair for problem solving and thinking on your feet. Your eye for detail, strong work ethic and continuous endeavour for accuracy will ensure you are effective in this role.
