The Social Media Manager will create and activate Red Bull’s events, athletes, artists, opinion leaders, campaigns, and communications across social media.

You’ll sit in the Programming team and be responsible for maximizing engagement, impact, and relevance of Red Bull properties across our managed network of channels.

You will work with wider marketing specialists to come up with brilliant and innovative ideas, which go beyond standard social media executions, with the ambition to achieve firsts in social marketing and solidify Red Bull as a market leader.

Be one of the key sources of creativity in the business, always coming up with new ideas and thinking outside of the box on how we tell stories through our social channels.

You’ll be part of knowledge sharing sessions champion social media insights in the business, looking for opportunities to grow Red Bull’s brand in new platforms and communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with :

Create content for our social channels to create native engagement, push to other parts of our media network, and support marketing initiatives

Help develop and execute new social media formats and content ideas

Refresh and repackage existing content to publish across our platforms

Work with in-house teams and agencies to bring your ideas to life

Ensure social content is tailored per platform and distributed effectively to maximize reach and engagement

Collaborate with the Media Network and wider marketing team on ideas to achieve overall team goals

Actively seek out innovations to help achieve world firsts

Work with Opinion Leader stakeholders within the business to identify opportunities to create and co-create with opinion leaders.

Work cross-functionally with the wider marketing team to identify and create compelling creative for moments across the marketing calendar.

Work with the Programming team to program "always-on" content across our managed platforms Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok

Help the wider Programming team increase performance by optimizing our approach to social posting

Seek co-programming and co-production opportunities with publishers and platforms to ensure incremental distribution of social creative.

Track and report on performance, and continually optimize strategy and delivery

Develop testing strategies to support new insights, recommendations, and optimizations

Demonstrate social media ROI to ensure ongoing investment and integration into all business plans

Budget management and reporting of programs in line with project managers to create the strongest impact across our business activities.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role :

  • 4+ years’ work experience in Consumer lead Digital Media, Social Media, or Interactive Marketing, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Experience in web, social and digital media. An understanding of productions across all digital mediums is required, the ability to generate onsite event and live digital content is preferred.
  • Experience in, and strategic knowledge of, how to leverage paid / earned / owned media landscape and proven experience in of marketing and advertising trends and opportunities in Digital.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of brand marketing, digital campaigns across owned, paid and earned media.
  • The proven ability to effectively communicate with different audiences.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in plain English.
  • An excellent eye for detail with organizational and project planning / management skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and basic financial reporting.
  • Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors.
  • Ability to analyze web traffic and create tailored audience reports and recommendations.
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media and / or a related discipline is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in plain English.
  • Travel up to 10%
