Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance your career? We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support our electricity team by providing strong works management with a dedicated drive for improvement on key business processes.
Main accountabilities include completion of works on time and to budget, reporting on works - both financial and physical progress, and ensuring all required documentation is provided at completion of each project.
You will require :
Minimum of ten year’s knowledge and experience with electrical distribution networks with regards to network maintenance, operation, construction and / or design.
In-depth knowledge of overhead construction required.
Contract management skills. An understanding of commercial contracts and the practical application of the terms of those contracts
Strong commercial / financial acumen
Excellent project management skills with a reputation for on time, on budget delivery in a professional services environment.
Good attention to detail and a professional attitude.
You will have :
In depth knowledge of electricity industry legislative requirements. A consistent application is essential.
A specific and in depth understanding of Health and Safety legislation that relates to all areas of distribution construction.
Excellent communication, report writing and documentation skills
Great relationship building skills with the ability to interact at various levels across the organisation and with external customers / contractors
Strong planning and organising skills
Demonstrated and effective negotiation and influencing ability
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and MS Project Effective time management skills
