Fixed Term until June 2023Part Time 0.8FTERemuneration as per MECA guidelines for Health & Clinical Support Workers Join our vibrant team as a Whaanau Support Worker in Community and Primary Health in South Auckland! As a Whaanau Support Worker you will be supporting the Kidz First Public Health Nurses to deliver health care services to families / Whaanau, schools and the wider community in the Counties Manukau Health catchment area.

We are seeking passionate candidates who want to make a real difference within our community, and who have a genuine interest working in the health care sector.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in health, working within the South Auckland community for at least one year.

Administration and computer skills with a second language will be an asset. Essential :

  • Minimum of 3 years secondary school
  • Community health environment knowledge
  • Familiar with medical computer systems
  • Good data entry skills
  • Current and clean full drivers licence
  • Ability to work closely with Public Health Nurses
