The Senior Experience Designer will understand the needs of customers and design engaging, easy to use digital experiences that meet those needs.
Working closely with customers, team, and business stakeholders, this person will primarily be a problem- solver, understanding issues and designing appropriate user experiences to take into account customer needs, business benefits, and technology capability.
This role is critical to the success of the team and the creation of innovative web and mobile digital solutions that add value to our internal and external customers.
Research documentation, e.g. personas, empathy maps, and user journeys.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs, through conducting workshops, face to face interviews, studying detailed analytics and performing user testing.
Identify problems to solve, business benefits and constraints by working closely with Product Owners and Customer Engagement team.
Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, interaction design, prototyping and user testing.
Understand detailed requirements and technology capabilities in order to develop wireframes, working closely with the Customer Engagement team and Solution Architects.
Create low-fidelity wireframes of workflows, using tools such as Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch or InVision.
Create high-fidelity design prototypes that are aligned to internal or client branding guidelines.
Test and validate designs, iterating as often as required.
Assist developers in implementing the workflows and designs of prototypes, in order to validate technical aspects of designs and iterate.
Design user interfaces, design assets, promotional graphics, etc. as needed.
Review prototypes with end users and iterate prototypes based on feedback / observation.
Usability testing of web and mobile apps in the beta phase.
Usage analytics of apps in production.
3+ years' experience in UX, HCD skills, and service design.
Strong visualisation skills and strong technical skills, such as Adobe CS and Onscreen Prototyping Tools.
2+ years' experience with user testing and research.
Experience with user interaction tools, such as Balsamiq, InVision, etc.
3+ years' experience working in teams delivering digital products using Lean / Agile and customer-centric methods.
Well organised and comfortable being engaged on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering outcomes rapidly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
