One of our clients is looking for a Team Lead - MS engineer who will be responsible for device lifecycle

management, technology roadmap development as well as the proactive assessment of the IT environment to

simplify and improve the user experience as part of the continuous improvement process.

The role will report to the MS Operations Manager and will also be the first point of contact for executive users

requiring IT support. The Team Lead - MS engineer will lead VIP support and assist with the prioritisation and

resolution of problems across the environment.

You Must have a valid NZ Drivers License

Domestic traveling will be required

What we want from you :

  • Senior technologist with a deep understanding of end-user device technologies in large corporate environments
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good understanding of ITIL / service management processes and procedures
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills with a strong focus on incident management, problem management and continuous service improvement
  • Experience with end-user device management and roadmap development
  • Comfortable working at all levels of an organisation including providing IT support to senior executives
  • Be responsible for device lifecycle and for the development of roadmaps for the in-scope technology and in alignment with overall our client’s strategy.
  • Ownership and investigation of faults, the development of processes to mitigate the recurrence of faults and proactive assessment of the environment to simplify the user experience.
  • Management and prioritisation of the field services workload and the ability to assist in this work as required.
  • Client Application Request validation / investigation process
  • Escalations
  • Managing vendor relationships
