Job Description

The JobWe are looking for a Project Controls Manager with an eye for detail and an excellent logical thought process to work with us in our Major Projects team.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with Engineers and having a close control of on-site activities within a project.

  • You will work on financial management and planning of the construction contract, and be involved in managing a project from establishment through to the close out of physical works and everything in between;
  • including safety, quality, environmental, financial management, and resourcing. What we need from youThis is a busy role that will see you assisting and managing the project controls across the project, ensuring it is completed within timeframe and on budget.

    We need someone with excellent leadership qualities, demonstrated communication skills, a passion to succeed in business and a practical minded hands-on approach.

    Your financial acumen and passion for estimating, change management, risk management, forecasting, procurement and programming will be part of your success in this role.

    A comprehensive understanding of production outputs and resource make-ups, and your strong background in civil engineering, will allow you to question productions, durations and changes that come through from Engineers due to your knowledge of how things run out on site.

    Your cost management is strong and you are well versed with monthly measures, cost to completes, interfaces between the Project Controls package and the Project financial package.

    You will have experience using CCS, a relevant tertiary qualification and 15 years + experience. You have a history of success in managing staff and subcontractors coupled with creating excellent working relationships with clients.
