About the role :
Within Customer Growth, the Refreshing of Customer Value Proposition Value Stream is focused on offering products, services and experiences that are relevant and affordable so that we can grow the business, transform health delivery in New Zealand and enable Kiwis to live their healthiest lives.
The Enterprise Business Analyst will provide expert strategic business analysis and consultancy services across multiple platforms, business units and squads, for this Value Stream, to help drive direction, foster innovation, and deliver value.

Work collaboratively at a broader value stream level and at a squad level, being comfortable with shifting focus as required
Establish relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand propositions aligned with our strategic focus areas of maintaining and modernising our technology platforms
Ensure squad members have clarity and alignment with their understanding of customer problems and associated requirements
Translate a wide range of technology and data orientated initiatives into plain English for our squads and stakeholders
Build and utilise knowledge of the wider organisation including its business, technical, and people capabilities to aid effective decision making, prioritisation, and estimation
Support the leads with creating and refining the devops backlogs to help enable successful delivery of customer outcomes
Be a customer advocate to help squads deliver outstanding experiences, keeping our customers front of mind when you facilitate agile ceremonies and support your assigned squad through delivery
Validate and communicate risks and dependencies to various stakeholders
Contribute to the tracking of outcomes and performance metrics, validating whether deliverables have met business and customer needs
Work with Product Owners on the triage, prioritisation, and management of operational enhancement requests
Where necessary, work beyond your area of expertise to help the value stream and squads achieve its objectives
Support the development of the value stream roadmap
Ability to independently drive / lead a team of Business Analysts for specific assignments
About you :
Experience in business analysis (at least 10 years) or related roles within an agile environment, preferably SAFe working to deliver customer value
Demonstrated ability to understand, analyse and communicate complex business issues and solutions to a variety of audiences
Experience in both business and technical domains, and across all areas of the project / initiative lifecycle from initiation through to solution analysis and delivery
Proven experience applying your analysis skills at an organisational, strategic level
Experience triangulating data and information from multiple sources to find insights
Experience writing Business cases or similar
Strong facilitation skills, with preferred experience in Service Design or Human Centred Design, and commitment to bringing diverse and innovative thinking to our decision making
Proven success in creating trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders
Comfort working with ambiguity, change, unknowns
Able to provide thought leadership, mentoring and coaching to Squad Business Analysts
Able to demonstrate a mindset of agility and a flexible and adaptive working approach
