This covers a wide range of policy areas, including visual and performing arts, media and broadcasting regulatory reform, heritage buildings and places, memorials and national symbols, and heritage collections and taonga.
We have a vacancy for a Policy Advisor in our media policy team based in our historical building on Lambton Quay in the heart of the CBD.

We are looking for a Policy Adviser to join our growing Media Policy teams.
Reporting to the Manager Policy you will draw on your public policy experience to advise Ministers on important reforms in New Zealand’s media and broadcasting sectors.
The work programme for the team is varied and challenging. Our projects include supporting the sector through COVID recovery, strengthening New Zealand’s public media system and reforming media content regulation.
