  • We seek Foundation Education lecturers to teach personal development, literacy and numeracy in a kaupapa Maori environment to a diverse group of cohorts within the Level 2 and 3 programmes.

    You will be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills, a flexible approach, and an empathy with second-chance learners.

    You will have an affinity with youth, have experience in teaching career and personal development to adults, and be competent in assessing student needs, developing individual learning plans, lesson planning and moderation.

    You will have excellent communication skills, as you will be working cooperatively with the Foundation Team and Student Services staff.

    Good computing skills are required and you will have an interest in blended models of course delivery. It is expected that you will demonstrate a commitment to the principles of Te Titiri o Waitangi.

    A teaching qualification is desirable or working towards one.
