We are looking for a full-time Barista to join our awesome team here at Southern Cross!

Relax, wine, dine, dance or enjoy a coffee Southern Cross has something for everyone, including a huge beer garden to soak up the sun.

We are a big venue with multiple function spaces PLUS the best garden bar in Wellington. We are on the hunt for a Restaurant Manager who will look after the restaurant area of our venue!

We are on the hunt for a full-time Barista who is amazing on the coffee machine! You must bring with you an out of this world positive, blow us away attitude, a passion for hospitality, team & service skills that will rock Wellingtonians and tourists alike! In this role you will be serving out great coffee while also working together with the rest of the front of house team in delivering top quality service to our customers.

If you can brighten people’s mornings, put a smile on their face and give them the best start to their day with your caffeinated beverages and your top notch service.

What we’ll love about you :

You’ll have a couple of years hospitality experience and at least 1 years experience as a Barista

You will have a genuine interest in all things coffee!

You will have a passion and desire to surprise and delight everyone that walks into the venue

You understand the difference between customer service and creating a fantastic customer experience creating the feeling of manaakitanga in the venue, with customers and with your team

You will be energetic and enthusiastic with great communication skills

You are going to be a team player with the ability to build great relationships with customers and team members
