  • About The Role

    As a ServiceNow Systems Administrator, you will analyse and translate business requirements into functional / non-functional system specifications, the impact analysis of change, estimating, performing peer reviews, communicating with business customers and stakeholders, be the key role in supporting solutions through the consulting, conducting analysis and design phase of the SDLC for the purposes of developing new and / or enhancing the applications.

    To achieve this, you will :

  • Ensure the approved development methodology and standards are followed with any deviations being escalated.
  • Take ownership of all analysis documents (functional / non-functional specification, system documentation, data dictionary, non-functional requirements).
  • Drive continuous improvements of the system analysis practice and process.
  • Manage process improvement and adherence, and support the Analysis and Design Manager in scoping, planning and managing system analysis activities.
  • Lead and mentor the less experienced System Analysts.
  • Role Location : Auckland or Wellington

    Role Type : Permanent, full-time opportunity

    Working Hours : Standard business hours with plenty of flexible work options available

    About You

    To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following :

  • 3+ years of experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on Service Portal, ITIL, Discovery, and Integrations
  • Experience in producing functional and or technical specifications for the ServiceNow platform
  • Hands-on experience writing / troubleshooting scripts in Javascript, Perl, and Powershell
  • Experience with Performance Analytics
  • Strong Leadership and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong focus on quality
  • Excellent communication, written and presentation skills
