Job Description
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Engineering Manager is an integral part of the Site Management Team and is responsible for ensuring that the Plant assets are managed and maintained through leading a team of Engineers (mechanical and electrical).
This role is pivotal in the ongoing operation of the site and includes building strong relationships across multiple disciplines and areas of the business.
The Engineering Manager ensures that all production departments experience minimal down time due to engineering and maintenance requirements.
Your strong communication and organisational skills will assist you in managing the variety of priorities and demands. The ability to maintain a strong focus on cost and resource management, and to prioritise expenditure decisions will ensure you continuously meet business objectives.
You will also provide confident leadership to an existing well-skilled engineering team.

Qualifications
Appropriate qualifications and / or experience in the engineering field.
Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 is an advantage as is additional training courses such as confined space and heights training etc.
You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.
