We are looking for people who have amature outlook and the ability to get on witha wide variety of people. As a Health Care Assistant you will be part of ourdedicated nursing environment with full support.
Your role is to work withinthe team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one to one patient watches, and other tasks as directed.
It is important that you have theflexibility to work both rostered and rotating shifts, including night duty, asneeded. As these are casual positions you couldexpect ad hoc shifts (covering leave and illness), with some forward planningand scheduling available when covering planned leave.
As this is an 'open until filled' vacancy, applications will be reviewed regularly and progressed as the casual resource pool requires additional staff.

You will need to be caring and compassionatewith the desire to provide quality, patient-centred care. You will also have the ability to work in a flexible and methodicalmanner, be honest and reliable, and use appropriate initiative.
Good communicationis essential, along with the ability to develop your skills and knowledge.
Experience within the health sector ispreferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
