As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work within a multi-disciplinary health care team to assist the registered nurse to meet the client's needs as they engage in therapeutic, vocational and quality of life inducing activities within the service.
Mō tō mātou rōpū ' About our team
Purehurehu is a male secure facility and Rangipapa is a male / female secure facility ' both units provide treatment, assessment and rehabilitation for tangata whaiora / consumers who are required to undergo psychiatric assessment prior to a court hearing and also for consumers committed to a mental health facility under the Criminal Procedure (Mentally Impaired Persons) Act 2003 or Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992.
