We have a vacancy for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist, to join our integrated multi-disciplinary team.
You will be working autonomously and alongside a multi-disciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapist, addiction clinicians, detox and registered mental health nurses and intake triage team.
The Occupational Therapy role within the team is one of care-co-ordinator that focuses on assessments, treatment and goal setting in partnership with the clients / family.
The role also involves on-going treatment, monitoring and discharge planning. You will be expected to undertake comprehensive assessments and risk management plans, functional assessments.
Provide individual / group counselling pertaining to specific health discipline, case manage and coordinate care for tangata whaiora / consumers and their families.
